Shaka Social launched in January 2022. We’re a year old and growing fast. Since launching, we’ve created social content for some of the largest brands in the world (Skyscanner, Red Bull, ClearScore, Checkout.com, Enterprise Rent-A-Car + more).
 
We’re an ambitious team and have our sights set on becoming an industry leader within the next two years. We’re agile, ambitious, fun and more importantly, very good at what we do.
 
This role is an opportunity to be a key player and influence the trajectory of a business that’s ready to scale, so, what are we looking for?
 

What you’ll do ?

We’ll give you the freedom required to take ownership and make a genuine impact from day one. This will be your role to shape.
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns for clients across multiple media – primarily paid social and paid search.
  • Manage all aspects of campaign configuration, launch, and ongoing optimisation – including strategy, setup, monitoring, and budget management.
  • Troubleshoot, problem-solve, and find creative solutions to client-specific needs.
  • Assist the creative team with ad creation through research, ideation and strategic direction.
  • Identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Ensure campaigns are meeting clearly defined objectives.
  • Create and deliver meaningful analytics and reporting to monitor and show progress.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and new technologies.

Person Specification

 

The requirements ?

We’re not looking for you to have 10 years of experience in Google Ads or a PHD in TikTok. We’re looking for someone who genuinely understands how to communicate via paid social, wants to help shape the future of a growing agency and enjoys thinking outside of the box to consistently deliver stand-out work for some of the world’s most ambitious brands.
  • Previous agency experience is strongly desired, although not essential.
  • Practical experience working on successful paid social media campaigns.
  • Quantitative ability and understanding of analytics software and, data analysis.
  • Understanding of past and current digital marketing and technology trends.
  • Highly motivated, with a genuine passion for growth.
  • Strong organisational skills with an attention to detail.
  • An innate understanding of Gen Z trends and culture.
